Traditions along the family tree, extended and handed down.

A lifetime of experience is brought to you with every adventure you seek.  Island Charters is second to none on experience and memories.

MICHIGAN OUT-OF-DOORS

Island Charters hits the small screen.

Island Charters had the pleasure of hosting local favorites, Michigan Out-of-Doors, for an episode.  Fishing, followed by some fillets, with the help of our cousin at the local restaurant.

MOM'S BIG MUSKY

Mom may be a great fisher, but that doesn't mean she's overly enthused about holding onto her Musky.

With her son's fishing pole bent in half, she was as much worried about the fish as she was about breaking her son's prized possession.  The fishing pole, and the mother, both survived.

14 YEARS IN THE MAKING

Sometimes success comes too quickly.

As the man in the Red Wings hat found out, 14 years is too long to go between hunting success.  Thanks to Captain Gregory Lipple, and Aaron Roszczewski, the dry-spell didn't go 15 years.

HERRING LIMIT

Danny is usually all smiles anyway.

Sometimes though, his smile may go ear-to-ear, after limiting out on Herring with Captain Gregory, in all of about 30 minutes worth of fishing.

FATHER & SON DEER RIFLE

Family is important, it's the way of connecting the past with the future.

At Island Charters, the connections between past and future are present on a daily basis, just like Jason Perkins and his son notching another deer on the family rifle.

THE FAMILY MASCOT

Meet our lovable canine, Jocko.

His bark is worse than his bite.  And by bite, we mean he may just lick you to death.  The family Rottweiler is always a welcoming host, and always excited to be on the water, in the woods, or on the ice.

FAMILY FISHING TOURNAMENT

Hundreds of Pike, countless memories.

An annual gathering of friends, family, and fishing.  Each year, a group of friends gather to meet up, camp, and fish for hours on end.  One of Captain Gregory Lipple's annually established family traditions.

FIRST HUNTING TRIP

Years of experience, since we could walk.

It's hard to keep young kids entertained in a deer blind without making too much noise, but hanging out with dad is usually more fun than seeing any deer anyways.
